• As-Worn Technology™
  Shamir Autograph II® with As-Worn Technology™ is available in four fixed fitting heights and takes into consideration the position of your frame and lenses, as they are worn on your face. In order to provide you a lens fully personalized to you, it is important to understand that your frame will have some panoramic angle, your lenses will be tilted due to the frame or how you wear your frame and that the lens may be closer or further away from your eye than that measured in the phoropter.

Because we know there is a difference from how a patient sees through a phoropter versus the frame, we can compensate for these differences by utilizing a patient’s “as-worn” measurements.

To take this to the next level, our R&D team threw in some additional mathematical specifications to the Shamir Autograph II –Office™, which incorporate measurements from your work environment.

These measurements take into account whether you are sitting or standing and if you are working in a stationary position or an active one. Measurements also include the position of your computer monitor or main focal point; whether it is at eye level (neutral), above or below. The Shamir Autograph II – Office™ also takes into account the distance you are from your computer monitor or main focal point.
